Private Bird watching (Naranjito)

Price

$325.00

Description:
Just 40 minutes from Quepos, the untouched rainforest of Naranjito offers a paradise for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. This 4-hour walk through gravel roads, cattle farms, and lush rainforest provides the ideal opportunity to encounter Costa Rica’s extraordinary bird diversity.

With over 250 identified species in the region, you’ll have fun spotting an incredible variety of colors, calls, and sizes — from tiny hummingbirds to majestic raptors. Some of the most remarkable species include the Black-Mandibled Toucan, White-Throated Shrike-Tanager, and Short-Tailed Hawk.

It’s not uncommon to identify over 70 different species in a single day!

Children especially enjoy this experience — seeing up close the birds they’ve only read about in books. As an optional add-on, you can finish your morning with a traditional wood-fired Costa Rican lunch (not included).
