Horseback Riding Adventure — Waterfalls, Mountains & Rainforest Views 🐎🌄

Experience the beauty of Costa Rica’s countryside on this scenic horseback riding tour through the lush landscapes near Manuel Antonio.

Your journey begins with comfortable transportation from your hotel. During the 40-minute drive to Londres, your guide will share interesting facts about the history of Quepos and the surrounding region. Upon arrival, you’ll find a charming property with stables, a corral, restrooms, and an open-air waiting area — the perfect place to prepare for your adventure.

Before setting off, you’ll receive riding instructions, safety tips, and time to practice. Then, saddle up and begin your 2.5-hour ride through a secondary rainforest that rises up to 600 meters (1,900 ft) in elevation. As you travel along mountain trails, you’ll enjoy spectacular valley views, vibrant vegetation, and the chance to spot birds, reptiles, and other wildlife.

Halfway through the ride, you’ll arrive at a beautiful waterfall, where you can relax for about 30 minutes — take a swim, rest on the grass, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. After your break, you’ll return along the same scenic trail.

Once back at the ranch, you’ll be treated to a delicious local lunch, made with fresh ingredients — the perfect ending before returning to your hotel.

No previous riding experience is required.
Minimum age: 7 years old.
Maximum rider weight: 250 lbs (113 kg).
